Samsung is reportedly considering transferring its Exynos chip unit from the System LSI division to the Mobile eXperience (MX) division, which oversees Galaxy devices. While this move could lead to better-optimized chips for Samsung phones, concerns over System LSI’s financial struggles and Samsung Foundry’s lag behind TSMC could hinder the transition. If successful, the shift may happen by the end of the year, aligning with the mass production of the Exynos 2600.
