Xiaomi enters the clamshell foldable market with the Mix Flip, bringing flagship-level hardware at a competitive price of S$1,499. It boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and a large 4,780mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
A standout feature is its 4.01-inch outer screen, which allows full app functionality—unlike competitors that limit users to widgets and mini-apps. The dual 50MP Leica cameras, including a 2x optical zoom telephoto lens, deliver solid imaging performance.
However, the Mix Flip has some drawbacks: no wireless charging, no eSIM support, and excessive bloatware notifications. Despite these, Xiaomi has delivered a strong first attempt at a flip phone, offering better value for money than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 and OPPO Find N3 Flip.
