Vivo has officially launched the V50, continuing its focus on portrait photography with ZEISS-branded cameras. The phone retains its sleek pill-shaped camera array and introduces a diamond-cut bevel design for added texture.
Under the hood, it keeps the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, first seen in the Vivo V30, with 12GB RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The biggest upgrades include IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, a larger 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, and a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 4,500 nits peak brightness.
The triple 50MP camera system features ZEISS optics and AI Aura Light Portrait 2.0, offering enhanced lighting for low-light portraits. While 1x and 2x zoom perform well, anything beyond that shows a loss of detail.
The Vivo V50 is now available globally, with Singapore pricing to be announced soon.
