Huawei has confirmed it will be launching its Mate XT triple-folding smartphone in global markets. The company announced on X that it will host an “innovative product launch” on February 18 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In a nearly one-minute video, Huawei highlights the evolution of its foldable phones, showcasing the Mate X from 2019, the Mate X3 from 2023, and the upcoming Mate XT in 2025. The Mate XT initially debuted in China in September 2024, and rumors have circulated about its international release ever since. Recently, the Mate XT received TDRA certification from UAE authorities, which typically signals an impending launch.
