Until now, it was generally believed that Apple would unveil its new iPhone SE sometime in March or April. However, the latest rumors suggest that the launch could happen as soon as next week.
According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple might release the new iPhone SE “as early as next week,” meaning it could be announced anytime between now and Valentine’s Day.
Gurman also reports that Apple won’t hold a special event for the iPhone SE launch. Instead, the company is expected to announce the device on its website and via a press release. Pre-orders are likely to start immediately after the announcement, with the phone going on sale the following week.
The new iPhone SE is expected to feature a design similar to the iPhone 14, with Face ID, a single camera, and a USB-C port. It is also rumored to be powered by the A18 chip, enabling support for Apple Intelligence. The starting price is speculated to be around US$499.
