Zepp Health announced their brand-new smartwatch for the great outdoors in the form of the new Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch at the recent IFA 2024 in Berlin.
They’ve also been on a bit of a roll of late by announcing their new status as the Official Wearable and Timekeeping partner of the HYROX World Series of Fitness Racing just a few days earlier. It’s quite clear that Amazfit is clearly focused on making a statement around their focus on fitness.
Yes, they started out with a bit of a reputation for making cheap fitness trackers, but on the surface at least, the new T-Rex 3 is probably the closest the company has been in potentially giving competitors like Garmin a reason to look closer in the rear-view mirror.
