More details about Apple’s upcoming smart home display have been revealed by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
According to Gurman, Apple’s smart home display is said to be a little smaller than expected. The square display is said to be about the size of two iPhones placed side by side.
This display is said to be positioned at an angle to a small base. In other words, the design concept would resemble the legendary iMac G4, launched way back in 2002.
Gurman says the base may house speakers which could mean the device would function like a HomePod, but with a display.
The smaller size of the device indicates that Apple plans to market it as an affordable smart home product which users can purchase to place in different rooms of the house.
